New Reading Log Software
 

Exciting News! Our library has upgraded from ReadSquared to Beanstack for tracking your reading. Simply create an account to start logging your books and earning prizes!

If you participated in 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten on READsquared, we will help migrate your reading log to Beanstack. Please do the following:

  1. Create a new Beanstack account and sign up for the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten reading program.
  2. Email Ms. Olivia at childrenslibrarian@dscl.org with your name and the child's name, letting her know that you have created a Beanstack account and wish to migrate your child's 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten reading log into Beanstack.

Pouring Over Books

February 23rd | 3-6pm | Prospect House

 

The Friends will host their 14th Annual Pouring Over Books fundraiser at The Prospect House in Dripping Springs. This event will include a discussion and book signing with acclaimed Texas author Lynda Rutledge, author of bestselling book  West With Giraffes. Live music provided by Jerry Kirk, as well as an online auction and door prizes!

Guests will be offered complimentary fine wines, craft beers and premium teas, as well as delicious bites.

The event runs from 3PM to 6PM. The silent auction ends at 5:00PM so winning bidders can collect their prizes at the event. Join us for this joyful event to benefit our community library!
