February Events and Updates
A  NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR

Dear Friends,

Spring is just around the corner, and we are so excited for all the fun, creative, and meaningful things happening at the library in the months ahead. This season is full of opportunities to gather, learn, and celebrate the incredible people who make our community so special.

We are especially thrilled to share an exciting update on our Bookmobile project. Thanks to the generosity and support of our community, we have raised $39,000, which has been matched dollar for dollar to bring our total impact to $78,000. Every donation, share, and word of encouragement brings us one step closer to expanding library access beyond our walls. We are deeply grateful to our community for believing in this vision and helping make it possible.

This spring also brings two exciting giving opportunities that directly support the future of our library. First, we invite you to join us at Pouring Over Books to meet acclaimed author Elizabeth Crook in conversation with KXAN Meteorologist, Kristen Currie. It will be a memorable evening of literature, discussion, and community.

Our second opportunity is our annual Golf Tournament, hosted in partnership with our presenting sponsor, Dripping Springs City Lifestyle Magazine. If you are a golfer, consider purchasing a team and spending a great day on the course for a meaningful cause.

Proceeds from both events will help fund our major initiatives as we grow, including expanded programming for our Library on Wheels, our new building, and so much more. Thank you for helping us build momentum for these projects as we continue working to bring them to life.

Thank you for being part of our library story. Your support, enthusiasm, and belief in what we do make all the difference. We cannot wait to share a joyful and inspiring spring with you.

With gratitude,
Mindy Laird
Library Executive Director
