Library on Wheels is on its way! April Programs and Update on Fundraising.
A  NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR

Dear Friends,

We have some exciting fundraising updates to share with our community! The Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library recently gifted the library a $25,000 donation to support our programming. The Friends also help make some of our biggest community events possible, including our Summer Kickoff celebration on June 1 from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. We hope you’ll join us for a fun morning at the library as we launch another exciting summer!

Our recent golf tournament was also a wonderful success! We are incredibly grateful for the community members and local business sponsors who came together to support the event. Their generosity and participation helped make the day possible, we raised $51,000 which will support the future of our new library building.

We are also deeply appreciative of the support behind our Library on Wheels initiative. Our community’s belief in outreach and mobile services has helped bring this vision to life. We’ll be bringing the Library on Wheels home in April and look forward to launching services this summer.

We are excited for Founder's Day! Be sure to stop by the library booth where we’ll have some fun surprises to share with the community. Thank you to our entire community for helping make these successes possible. Your continued support allows the library to grow and serve Dripping Springs in meaningful ways

With gratitude,
Mindy Laird

FRIENDS OF THE DRIPPING SPRINGS COMMUNITY LIBRARY

The Friends of the Library transition to a new President.

I’m honored to be stepping into the role of President of Friends of the Library and excited for the year ahead. This organization plays such an important role in supporting and strengthening our Library, and I look forward to building on that impact in meaningful ways.We are starting the year with a full and engaged board, which is incredibly energizing. With so many dedicated individuals bringing their ideas and enthusiasm to the table, I’m confident we are well positioned to grow our efforts and expand our support for the Library and the community it serves.I’m excited to work together to continue fostering a love of reading, learning, and connection—while helping our Library thrive.
