Meet the new Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library Board
A group of neighbors dedicated to keeping our library vibrant, innovative, and deeply connected to the community.
The Friends Board steps into 2026 with a renewed focus on volunteer engagement, fundraising that directly supports library programs, and strengthening the library’s role as a gathering place for learning and connection. Each board member brings a mix of professional expertise and personal passion for literacy, lifelong learning, and public spaces that welcome everyone.
This year’s board includes longtime supporters of the library along with new faces eager to introduce fresh ideas.
Executive Committee
Lori Sours, President; Natalie Mchany, Treasurer, Dorrie Flores, Treasurer; Pat Foster, Secretary.
Members At Large:
Craig Wind, Patti Greene, Renee Chambers, Corrie Hall, Olivia Irons, Sandy Burnett, Tara Ballard. One open board seat.
A new slate always brings new energy, and the Friends Board is already planning our 2026 fundraising events such as The Caliterra Book Sale, Pouring Over Books and a membership drive. These events strengthen both outreach and financial support and the board is committed to ensuring the library remains one of the most valued resources in town.
Community members who want to get involved—whether volunteering at events, donating gently used books, or becoming a Friend themselves—are warmly welcomed. Supporting the Friends Board directly supports the future of the Dripping Springs Community Library, and this new board is ready to make 2026 a standout year for everyone who loves this place.
