Friends,

Summer is in full swing, and the response from our community has been nothing short of incredible. In June alone, we welcomed more than 250 new library members and saw record numbers of visitors walk through our doors. We hosted 105 programs, made 12 stops with our new Library on Wheels, and engaged more than 2,300 people through library programming. Our hearts (and our parking lot) are quite literally full!

We have many exciting opportunities still to come this summer, so be sure to continue checking our calendar to stay up to date on upcoming events and programs!

Did you know that the Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the library through fundraising and volunteer participation? Their fundraising efforts directly impact our summer programming and provide the additional funding needed to offer a wide variety of engaging, free programs for our community.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Friends and supporting their important work, please visit their website at fodscl.org.

Lastly, we hope you will join us for our 'Book Affair' on August 15th. This special fundraising event is an opportunity to connect with fellow community members, enjoy local sips and bites, and celebrate the library's past, present, and future as we commemorate 40 years of service to our community. Additional information about tickets and sponsorship opportunities can be found below.

Happy Reading!

The Friends Launch First-Ever Friendship Drive

The Friends of the Dripping Springs Library are launching their first-ever Friendship Drive throughout July.
