Hello and Happy October!
This month, we’re highlighting a few of the ways you can get involved with your Library, support our mission, and help shape what comes next.
Help Shape the Future of Your Library! We want to hear from you! Our Strategic Planning Survey gives you an opportunity to share what you value about the Library, what you’d like to see in the future, and where you think we have opportunities to grow. As we work on our goals, vision, mission, and long-term planning, your feedback will help make sure we’re listening to the community we serve.
Join the Friends!
October 18th–24th is National Friends of the Library Week, and we want to celebrate our amazing Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library! Through fundraising, volunteering, advocacy, and community support, our Friends help make so many of the programs, resources, and special projects our patrons enjoy possible. We truly couldn’t do it without them! If you love the Library and want to be more involved, consider becoming a Friend of the Dripping Springs Community Library. For more information about membership or volunteer opportunities, email info@fodscl.org.
We're Hiring!
Do you love helping people and being part of a community-focused team? We’re currently hiring for a full-time Circulation Clerk position. Our Circulation team plays an important role in helping patrons find what they need and feel welcome when they walk through our doors. If you or someone you know would be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you! Click here for the job listing. |

DAF Day is October 8th!
At Dripping Springs Community Library, we are grateful for the many ways our community chooses to support the library. One of those ways is through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF).A Donor Advised Fund is a charitable giving account that allows individuals and families to set aside money for charitable giving and recommend grants to the organizations they care about. If you have a DAF, you can recommend a grant to Dripping Springs Community Library through your DAF provider. To our patrons and supporters who already give to our library through a Donor Advised Fund, thank you!
If you have a Donor Advised Fund, DAF Day on October 8 is a great time to consider recommending a grant to DSCL. Your support helps us continue serving our community today while helping write the next chapter for our library.
